after this company has bought out Ismile you can see the lack of customer service, I would high recommend this locate the lower east side. the people working for this location are allowing people who no longer work for the company to be in the backthe manager speaks to patients very unprofessional and wonder why people treat them the way they do. Respect is earned not given. ive always treated each employee with the most respect and for me to be treated the way I was especially being a patient for the last 3yrs I will not stand for it .. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE PEOPLE NEED TO BE RELACEDThe Harlem location gives Straight Set a very bad look and reputationI WILL NOT REMOVE MY REVIEW UNTIL THINGS ARE ADDRESSED & CHANGES ARE MADE

When I first started coming to this office, it was great fast service and results. They switched over to a new name and that’s when problems started to occur regarding health insurance payments. It’s not super clear who is the main doctor but all the paper work will say Seth Newman. When I did see this doctor, he was very rough by accident. Overall the service isn’t bad and you do get the results you want when you go to your appointment regularly.

First time at this office an I must say the office is very clean, an sanitized. All the staff from front desk, to x-rays, an assistants are all very respectful, friendly, an informative. I was assisted by Wenifer today who explained to me an my daughter about our options, she was willing to answer all my concerns an questions. Great place for orthodontic work

If you care about honesty and quality care-go to another orthodontics. I took my son for a consult; they never followed up. I called numerous times and they said they needed more time to check with my insurance. A month later, I call back again, and the receptionist states that they do not accept my insurance and we will need to pay out of network. I explain that Dr. Seth Newman is on the listing of in-network orthodontist at this address. The office manager continued to dismiss the inconsistency and just repeated, "I only work here." When I tried to ask what the estimate would be without the insurance, she said I would need to come in and start the process over. No apologies, just dismissively rude and impatient.Avoid this practice; they are overrun with patients and treat people inconsistently, and wait times are ridiculous. The whole waiting room was packed when we came for my son's appointment, and there has been an overturn with front desk staff--twice over.This business is located in Harlem and exploits residents who have Medicaid and therefore think its justifiable to provide slow, inconsistent treatment that economically benefits from the neighborhood but has no investment or care is quality treatment and customer care for our beautiful Harlem residents. If you love yourself or your children, go somewhere else.

The staff is absolutely amazing!! very friendly,pays attention to detail. It feels like a family environment 💯 recommend. The “retainers for life “package as well comes in clutch for people like me who are clumsy and might mess up with the original one either breaking or losing it the fact they got your back with a new one EVERYTIME That might happen gives me peace of mind.

This is my first time actually visiting this location. Sometimes when you’re going to the dentist you never know what To expect..From from The presentation room we walk into the office, to be professionalism of the office manager to the Ms Zoel and Ms Dawn We are so thankful on how they made my family feel. I must admit I was gonna give this place a 1 star rating however , I did want to highlight the one great thing about this place . I came in as a new consultation, and truly the place was just a mess no staff so I had to wait so long after the time my appointment was booked for , I believe the treatment coordinator wasn’t there or they don’t even have one and even the manager had no answer to many of my questions . However I must admit Karina , who received me as I came in was wonderful and a delight to meet . I believe she’s front desk , but she basically took over helping me with my questions and consultation that wasn’t even done due to me having to leave for work after waiting for so long. However she did make the best of the time I had left , answering some questions and being extremely helpful. This company is very lucky to have her , I was told I could reschedule my appointment, however wasting my time was extremely annoying to me so I don’t know if I’d want to come back to this place for my treatment. . However I do value some of the employees care & effort

Straight Set Orthodontics is a very nice and courteous place to receive dental care. It was a great experience for both of my children. Dawn was very kind and made them feel comfortable. The calm environment reduces the anxiety for children, especially geared around dental care and beginning the journey of getting braces. I highly recommend

I have been going to straight-set orthodontics for since June 2020. In the first year and a half I had terrible experiences with their previous financial assistance coordinator, Alexis, especially on my first consultation, but I was in needed of getting my teeth fixed from severe tooth pain. However, now that the staff and office has been updated for the past few months since my first consultation my visits feel much more comfortable. Either way the office is also very clean and I love Dawn, my x ray technician she's super sweet and provides the best service!!!

I had a very brief but pleasant first consultation to this office. The office is clean and well managed, the staff is extremely friendly. My technician Dawn helped take my x-rays and led me through all of the available options and treatments for detail work. The technology is new and high tech, and it’s clear that everyone wants the best for their patients.
