Practice was never the same after Dr. Moore left. Hygienist is awesome. However, office staff is very unprofessional, difficult and unkind. I had recently switched onto Medicare WITH dental coverage. Yet 3 individuals at the office insisted I had no coverage even though it was right on my card! After a lot of back and forth, I gave them the name of exactly who to call and was told they would contact my insurance first thing in the morning. This was weeks ago and NO call back! They did not follow thru and I have since found a new caring dentist who immediately knew I HAD dental coverage! Something else to note is they tried to bill my past insurance after a cleaning appt for "oral hygiene instructions" which was denied. Be careful of your charges!

I called regarding a new bridge I needed on my lower teeth. Tampa Smiles was able to get me in within a couple of hours and I was out in 2 hrs!! Of course, there was a lot of decay under the bridge which also had to be removed before anything else could be done. Dr Vidales was terrific. He explains everything he was doing so I felt comfortable and secure in his treatment.

Before I even got to my 1st appointment, I had something come up with work and I had to reschedule. They were very accommodating and understanding and gave me a one time excuse for the last minute rescheduling fee. When I entered the front area was very clean. The Staff that I interacted with were all very knowledgeable and friendly. The doctor is also very knowledgeable and all of the staff come by, including the doctor, continuously to double check to make sure that you don't have additional questions. There are also Spanish-speaking staff, so this is very very helpful for those who need Spanish-speaking professionals. I would highly recommend! Also, they told me the time it would take for everything I wanted and it literally took like 5 minutes less than the time. They are very conscious and aware of making things convenient.

I took the appointment with an excruciating pain on my molar two teeth and I cannot tell you,the relief,professionalism and ofcourse extremely kind patient care I had received from Dr.Vidales and his team.Tampa bay smiles team never will leave you disheartened when we are in dire need of an appointment. I can speak only from my experience and Yes,today I feel so better compared to my previous sleepless nights bearing all that teeth pain and for sure,I an thankful to Dr.Vidales and Tpa smiles team,for making my life lot easier today.

Adrian got me back for a crown prep the first visit.. he slammed temporary into my brain so I could remember that I eat something to hard or to crunchy I'll break the temporary and have to come back... which I didnt want to come back until my permanent crown was in, and honestly, crown felt perfect the whole time, He taught Carmela how to take it off and was so patient with her, and Caroline kept popping in asking if I needed some water and preset all my appointments. Great office!

BEST dental experience!! FromDarlene welcoming me in the front, to Anna and Dr. Vidales taking care of me, I feel so at home. I was so scared of the dentist before- and they eased all my fears and made mefeel so comfortable. If you have any dental needs- this is the place!

Great office! Everyone is very nice. The doctors take the time to explain the procedures and what to expect after. They are very concerned about your well being while they're working on you. We've been to other dentists in the area where we haven't been back after the first visit, but this office makes you feel at ease.... and I don't like dentists!!!😀

Im not one to give any reviews but i did not have the best experience. I hope this review helps the office be better, so no one goes through the bad experience I did. Everyone in the office is friendly but lack communication amongst the staff with the appointments. My first appointment was great. Dr Vidales performed a filling on a chipped molar I had and was super comforting and gentle. I’m terrified of fillings due to the drilling, it was great, I felt no pain.I made a second appointment for my cleaning and free whitening. The day of my cleaning appointment the dental hygienist tells me she can do the cleaning and not my whitening. It was very upsetting because I made my appointment for both procedures. Her reason was that all the doctors left and she was the only one attending patience. That shouldn’t be my concern if I made an appointment for both. I understood and made another appointment for the whitening . Today I was back to the office for my whitening. The guy attending me tells me they ran out of cheek retractors, which is a tool needed for the whitening. I was upset and told him why didn’t they notify me before I got here and wasted time coming here. He tells me he will try todo the whitening with cotton rolls, that was a total failure. The cotton rolls kept coming down and soaking the whitening gel. That was not professional at all. He tells me I can make another appointment for whitening. Why should I have to come a third time, people don’t have time to be wasted. I will not be coming back. I had recommended my husband here for cleaning but after everything that happened to me he will not be attending.

I was surprised and concerned at my most recent 6-month checkup that Dr. Moore was no longer at the practice. Not sure what happened there, but I wish him well. However, Dr. Vidales and the staff treated me very well and were professional. I've had to go 4 times in the past few months, and each time the staff treated me kindly and Dr. Vidales was always concerned about whether I was feeling pain. He assisted me with a new crown and ensured it fit well. I'll be happy to continue my visits with him.

We changed Dentists after there was a major communications breakdown with our last Dentist. We literally stumbled across Tampa Bay Smiles and we’re so glad we did. Their office provides you with privacy, there isn’t loud music with loud din in the background, and everyone was very polite and professional. They listened and were patient with me. They answered all my questions. We’re very happy with Tampa Smiles.
