I had an appointment scheduled, arrived 9 minutes late within the 10-minute grace period, yet the staff refused to accommodate my son. Their nonchalant attitude and lack of managerial assistance were frustrating. The staff claimed they had no access to corporate contacts.

My daughter had an appointment this morning and was accompanied by my wife. The staff(tall bald guy) was extremely rude and unprofessional. My wife is recovering from a traumatic brain injury, has sensitivity to light, and oftentimes need to wear sunglasses. The staff told her in a nasty tone, "Why would you have glasses on, theres no sun in here". From beginning to end, the appointment was a disaster. The service today was horrible and my child will not be returning. Hopefully, this place do some sort of training on professionalism and quality customer service.

The orthodontist department is horrible. It seems that the company grew too fast and forgot about patient care. They have staff that doesn’t call you back after 4 DAYS of left messages just to reschedule, staff that obviously doesn’t like to answer questions and they treat the kids like they are an inconvenience. Remember without these children they wouldn’t have a job. It’s a shame I spoke to one of the rudest receptionist ever named Jade. Her customer service was horrible and continued to have attitude the entire conversation. I hate that I started ortho work for my child with them because now I’m stuck. Please don’t waste your time, money and put your child through this mess with this company. I’ve learned the hard way.

This rating DOES NOT concern the DENTAL side..... They are fantastic!!!!!! However, getting through to the Ortho side is INSANELY difficult.... My daughter's retainer fell out twice and I can't get in touch with them to make an appt. It ALWAYS gets sent to voicemail..... With NO call back. or they cancel appts without your knowledge!!!!!!

My son and I have been attending this office for quite some time now. First point of contact is the front desk staff and the customer service is always friendly and inviting. Wait time is always short. Procedures are explained in detail. Services from the orthodontist and the dentist on-site is always 10 out of 10. I have no complaints.

Gentle touch Smiles has always been diverse which I absolutely love! Then, you have the staff which are just- ALL of them BEYOND words. The one in charge has to be an amazing person to hire allll great team members. My daughter got her cavities filled today she is only 5yrs old and she didn't shed not 1 tear 🏾 she was suuuuper comfortable as I was as well. The only thing I'd suggest is getting more games and toys for the little ones. Maybe even a small treasure chest (like my dentist had when I was little) with small toys in it, mini coloring books, seasonal toys etc. The arcade isn't much of an arcade like it was a few yrs ago. But all in all, it's still fun and a welcoming warm atmosphere. The staff of a place really makes a world a difference. As long as we reside in Delaware we will remain patients at Gentle Touch. Cause that touch is always gentle THANK YOU ALL!!!

Terrible customer service was 10 minutes late for an appointment and was told it would be a little wait since I was late which was fine until patients that weren’t even there when I arrived where being called back so I went to the desk saying I didn’t think I would be waiting until after people that arrived after me as well I was rudely asked did I want to reschedule and I said no I would find another practice because how does it make sense for me to wait hours like there isn’t a 10-15 minute late grace period

I tired to explain they were sending out the wrong name &the phone associated w/ the person was incorect..the receptionist made it seem like I was angruing. I just wanted them 2 get it right... wrong name and they ask me 2 confirm... how? W/incorrect informationThe receptionist had no patience to get it right
